Jennifer Pahlka is the author of Recoding America: Why Government is Failing in the Digital Age and How We Can Do Better. She founded Code for America in 2010 and led the organization for ten years. In 2013, she took a leave of absence to serve as U.S. Deputy Chief Technology Officer under President Obama and helped found the United States Digital Service.
Kiran Ahuja serves as the Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. After more than two decades in public service and executive nonprofit work, she was nominated by President Joe Biden for her current role before being confirmed by the United States Senate on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Director Ahuja is the first South Asian American and first Asian American woman to lead OPM.
Shalini Kantayya is a TED Fellow, a William J. Fulbright Scholar, and a finalist for the ABC Disney DGA Directing Program. She is an Associate of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Kantayya finished in the top 10 out of 12,000 filmmakers on Fox’s On the Lot, a show by Steven Spielberg in search of Hollywood’s next great director.
Ventris C. Gibson is the first African American to lead the U.S. Mint, which is the largest Mint in the world. Director Gibson is a U.S. Navy veteran, joining the Mint from District of Columbia Government. Prior to her service with the District, she served as the Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and also as the Director of Administration for the National Labor Relations Board.

How do I access the post-event recordings?
Virtual participants can access the recordings through the same Airmeet portal used to attend the conference. In-person attendees will receive a unique link to Airmeet early next week (the week of April 22) from notifications@airmeetevents.com - please add this email address to your safe senders list.
I could not attend the conference; can I receive a refund?
We cannot issue refunds for registration fees to the Federal Human Capital Conference.However, you will have access to most of the plenary and all of the breakout session recordings for up to 60 days after the event.
